Cobourg police say they’ve arrested a second man in connection with a break and enter investigation that began late last month.
On May 25, 2025, officers responded to a report of a break-in near the intersection of Third Street and Albert Street. Police say two suspects were caught on surveillance video breaking into a secure building and storage units located inside.
The first arrest in the case was made on June 13.
According to the Cobourg Police Service, the second suspect was located on Saturday, June 14, and taken into custody. A 27-year-old Cobourg man has been charged with break and enter, possession of break and enter tools, and two counts of failing to comply with probation.
The accused was held for a Show Cause Hearing and remains in custody.
