Greater Napanee’s Chief Administrative Officer is calling his first year on the job both challenging and rewarding. Monday, June 16th, marked one year since Matthew Grant took over the position with the town.
He says in his first year, the town has made real progress in several areas.
Grant says he’s proud of how the town created a fair and transparent approach for both housed and unhoused residents. He also highlighted a new focus on better use of municipal lands and improving internal systems and policies.
Looking ahead, he wants to clearly outline what services the town provides and the paise of change.
Grant shared that as friends and family visitors of Greater Napanee, they constantly praise its beauty and friendliness,
He ended in saying he believes the community has much to be proud of as it continues to grow.
