An emergency road closure is in place along Hamilton Road in Quinte West after a serious multi-vehicle crash.
According to OPP, the multi-vehicle collision happened just after 11 a.m. on Monday, June 16, 2025, and has resulted in serious injuries.
Initial reports point to two individuals with serious injuries.
Officials are asking people to avoid the area and follow the detour route in place.
The City of Quinte West has also since issued a release saying the emergency road closure is in effect from Hamilton Road between Aikins Road to Jeffrey Drive.
“The street is closed to through-traffic until further notice,” reads the notice.
Emergency crews remained at the scene just after 1 p.m.
The city said notice will be issued when the road has reopened.
