Police have arrested a third suspect in connection with a November break-and-enter at a Buchanan Street business.
On November 24, four storage units were entered, and items were stolen, including a camouflaged hunting crossbow. Scenes of Crime Officers processed the area, and security footage indicated five suspects were involved.
Through investigation, police identified a 42-year-old Cobourg man as a suspect. On December 13, he turned himself in and was charged with possession of break-in instruments, break and enter to commit theft over $5,000, and possession of stolen property over and under $5,000. He was released with a future court date.
Two suspects remain outstanding. Police are urging anyone with information, dashcam, or CCTV footage from the Buchanan Street area to contact Cobourg police at 905-372-6821.
