A new Ontario Parks storefront website is launching exclusive gear for you to grab anytime of the year, not just when you happen to be at the parks.
This information comes after the June 30th opening of the Ferris Provincial dog park. GoNorthumberland spoke with MPP David Piccini about why the website will be important for increasing Ontario Parks revenue.

With an interesting twist to get producers, artists and product designers involved, Piccini said they’re always interested in collaborating with locals to find the next idea. He mentioned the Collective Arts Trail Blazer Honey Lager as a reference point.
the Trail Blazer lager was released as a collaborative product with Ontario Parks. Partial proceeds from the sale of Trail Loop and associated merchandise will be donated to the Balsam Lake Provincial Park Reforestation Project.
MPP David Piccini says not only does he want ideas like these to continue but knowing you can support provincial parks and get a good product out of it “is just smart business.”
The Ferris Dog Park as well was an idea Piccini was approached with, and through the effort of collaboration, was made a reality.
Most recently in the Ontario Parks shop, a pet bandana was released coinciding with the opening of Ferris dog park. You can read all about the announcement here.
