There are nearly 500 kilometres of roads and 133 bridges and culverts that Northumberland County is responsible for and this year a number of them will be getting some attention from Public Works.
Bridge repairs in Campbellford, Roseneath, Warkworth and Baltimore are some of the highlights as well as road work at the Brighton Railway Crossing plus crack sealing, surface treatment and micro surfacing and 13.8 kms of road paving.
The County reminds drivers to slow down and obey speed limits and flag persons in construction areas and plan your routes in advance to avoid delays.
You can check out Construction – Northumberland County for info on where work is at, what’s been completed and areas to avoid.
