The Downtown Business Improvement Area of Cobourg has organized Cobourg’s first Pride events to celebrate diversity and inclusion.
DBIA Administrator Carleigh Hunter told us things get started on Friday, June 2nd.
It’s small town PRIDE taken to the next level according to Carleigh.
On Saturday June 3rd, there’ll be music, a Parade, extended patios, food trucks, bouncy houses and more – all to show how warmly Cobourg welcomes everyone in a spirit of diversity and inclusion.
According to Hunter, Pride is something that has been neglected in Cobourg.
This year’s events include a Day Market and Drag Bingo on Friday night, with the Parade beginning at 11 am on Saturday.
And in the spirit of diversity and inclusion, everyone is invited to attend in costume or just as you are, but the more colour the better.
