A Peterborough man has been charged in connection with a break in last week in Colborne.
On the evening of February 11, Northumberland OPP say they responded to a report of a homeowner discovering a person who appeared to be passed out inside a sunroom portion of their home.
Police say the person woke up and became agitated, smashing things around the room and threatening the homeowner with a metal rod.
As a result of the investigation, 41-year-old Ryan Galbraith of Peterborough is facing charges of assault with a weapon, uttering threats, break and enter, and mischief charges among others.
