Habitat for Humanity has kicked off it’s annual Writing Contest.
The nationwide Meaning of Home writing contest is for children in grades 4, 5 and 6.
They can share what home means to them through a poem or short essay and one winner from each grade will receive a 30-thousand dollar grant to be directed to a local Habitat build of their choice.
This year, Habitat Northumberland has partnered with local Century 21 All Pro Realtors Jennifer Lean-Gadbois and Nikki Kelly to sweeten the pot with a pizza party for the class with the most entries in the County.
And every submission earns a $10 donation towards Habitat Northumberland so get your thinking caps on.
