There may finally be a reason to look forward to the summer as the event schedule starts to fill up.
Jackie Chapman-Davis, the Community Events Coordinator for the Town of Cobourg outlined what’s in store.
She said local groups in the area have big plans for this summer.
She said organizers have had plenty of down time to think about their events going forward.
She said she’s looking forward to a busy summer once again.
While many favourite events may be returning, Chapman-Davis noted that the Sandcastle Festival will not be happening this summer.
