While you may know him better as ‘Coach Campbell’ you may be surprised to hear he’s never actually coached a sports team!
He says his involvement in sports began when he was young, watching Hockey Night In Canada, and from there, he went through post secondary to become a broadcaster.
To this day, Campbell is still involved with the hometown Cobourg Cougars, and does a lot of sports work for Northumberland 89.7.Campbell says sports are a passion of his, and through his various roles through work and volunteerism, he got to meet greats like Bobby Orr, but also local heroes like Steve Smith, Justin Williams and the late Layton Dodge.
