Lindsay Grimley is a wife, mother and local business owner running for municipal council in the 2026 election. She says she feels privileged to seek a seat on council and is passionate about the community she calls home, including its small-town charm and character.
Priorities and Experience
Grimley says her campaign is focused on safer streets, transparency and sensible management of tax dollars. She also wants to champion more programs and services that promote inclusion and support exceptional children.
As a downtown business owner, Grimley manages the finances of three barbershops, giving her direct experience with business operations and financial management. She says her personal experience as the mother of a son with autism also gives her a close connection to her priority of improving programs and services for exceptional children.
Grimley says her professional and family experiences have shaped the issues she wants to bring forward as a councillor, with a focus on practical decisions that affect residents, families and local businesses.
Why the Community
Grimley says she loves the charm and beauty of her small town and feels strongly about contributing to the community. Her experience as a local business owner and mother has helped shape her interest in making the community safer, more inclusive and responsive to residents’ needs.
