Cobourg police made three arrests last week involving outstanding warrants and an alleged breach of bail conditions.
The Cobourg Police Service says officers first attended the William Street area shortly after noon Sept. 23 to execute an outstanding warrant. A 34-year-old Port Hope man was arrested without incident and later released on an undertaking.
About two hours later, officers on patrol near Division and Chapel streets arrested a 36-year-old Cobourg man who was wanted on an outstanding warrant. He was taken into custody and held pending a bail hearing.
Later that evening, officers conducting patrols in a Covert Street parking lot arrested a 30-year-old Bridgenorth woman who police allege had breached a release order. A search following the arrest allegedly located a small quantity of suspected fentanyl. She was charged with failing to comply with a release order and possession of a Schedule I substance and was held for a bail hearing.
