The Cobourg Police Service made three arrests on September 23 involving outstanding warrants and an alleged breach of a release order.
Police say officers attended the William Street area around 12:20 p.m. to execute an outstanding warrant. A 34-year-old Port Hope man was arrested without incident and was later released on an undertaking.
Around 2:15 p.m., officers conducting general patrols near Division and Chapel Streets spotted a 36-year-old Cobourg man who was wanted on an outstanding CPS warrant.
He was arrested and taken to the Cobourg Police Service for processing before being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Later that evening, around 8:25 p.m., officers on patrol in the Covert Street parking lot spotted a 30-year-old Bridgenorth woman who police say was known to have breached a release order.
Police say a search following her arrest located a small quantity of suspected fentanyl.
The woman was charged with failing to comply with a release order and possession of a Schedule I substance. She was held for a bail hearing.
CPS says it remains committed to enforcing outstanding warrants and monitoring compliance with court-imposed release conditions.
