A 67-year-old Port Hope man is facing two sexual assault charges following an investigation into two separate incidents involving female employees at local businesses.
Port Hope Police arrested Clifford Gillespie on September 24.
Gillespie has been charged with two counts of sexual assault, contrary to Section 271 of the Criminal Code.
Police say he was held for a bail hearing and was subsequently remanded into custody by the Ontario Court of Justice in Northumberland County.
The allegations have not been tested in court.
