A 53-year-old motorcyclist has been airlifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre following a hit-and-run collision in Northumberland County.
Northumberland OPP say emergency crews responded to a collision involving a motorcycle and a sedan on County Road 28 near Ganaraska Road shortly after 9:30 a.m. Monday, September 21.
The motorcycle rider suffered serious injuries and was transported by Ornge air ambulance to hospital.
Police say the driver of the sedan failed to remain at the scene. Investigators are looking for a white sedan with tinted windows and a possible spoiler.
OPP have not released further details about the circumstances of the collision.
Investigators are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam or other video footage from the area.
