Cobourg’s low-season parking rules are now in effect, running through May 14, with high-season regulations returning May 15.
The town says waterfront parking rates have dropped for the low season, with the first three hours free and additional parking costing $2.50 an hour or $20 per day. Downtown rates remain the same year-round, with the first three hours free and subsequent parking charged at $2.50 an hour.
Parking enforcement continues 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The town also offers monthly and seasonal parking permits for residents, Northumberland County residents, downtown employees and waterfront visitors. Overnight parking permits are also available.
