A driver has been charged with dangerous driving following a collision involving a motorized wheelchair in Port Hope last month.
Police say the crash happened Aug. 13 near Jocelyn and Cavan streets, when a vehicle and the wheelchair were both travelling east on Jocelyn Street.
The wheelchair operator was taken to hospital with minor injuries. Police have not released the driver’s identity.
