Northumberland residents are being asked to share their experiences and ideas as the Ontario Health Team of Northumberland develops its next five-year Strategic Plan.
OHT-N has launched a community survey aimed at gathering feedback on local health care needs, barriers residents may have experienced when trying to access services, and opportunities to improve care in the years ahead.
The organization’s current Strategic Plan is entering its final year, making community feedback an important part of determining future priorities.
OHT-N Executive Lead Ram Puva says the organization wants to hear from residents who have had both positive and challenging experiences with the health care system, as well as those with ideas about how services could work better.
The Ontario Health Team of Northumberland is a partnership involving health care providers, community organizations, patients, caregivers and other partners working to improve how health and social services are planned and delivered across Northumberland.
The survey is open to residents throughout the county, including people who may not regularly interact with OHT-N or other health care organizations.
It takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete, and responses are confidential.
The survey closes Friday, September 4, 2026.
Residents can complete it online at OHT-N’s community survey and are encouraged to share it with others who may also want to provide input.
