Wednesday: Starting at 10 a.m., the Me & The Bees Tour gives you a chance to get up close with a working beehive and learn how bees, honey, and beekeeping all come together. Wednesday: Starting at 11 a.m., Kids Learn to Knit gives young crafters a chance to learn the basics of knitting while building a creative skill they can enjoy for years. Thursday: Starting at 6 p.m., the Road To Cultivate Concert Series brings another free evening of live music to Port Hope, with the Angela Pincente Big Band joining Port Hope Jazz for a special night of music in the park. Bring a blanket, browse the local makers’ market, and enjoy some great summer sounds at the Memorial Park Bandshell in Port Hope.
Thursday: Starting at 3 p.m., Market in Memorial Park is a great chance to spend part of your Thursday browsing local vendors, discovering handmade goods, and supporting small businesses and artisans from the area. Take a stroll through the market, chat with the people behind the products, and enjoy the relaxed summer atmosphere at Memorial Park in downtown Port Hope.
