Here is a quick snapshot of what’s happening around town the next 48 hours.
STUFF TO DO
Monday: Starting at 6:30 p.m., Yoga in the Flower Field offers a peaceful way to unwind with an evening of movement surrounded by the beauty and fresh air of a working flower farm. You can simply enjoy the yoga session or add a U-Pick flower experience for an extra dose of summer colour at Cold Springs Flower Farm, 8280 McBridge Road, near Cobourg.
Monday: Starting at 9 a.m., Funny Bone Comedy & Improv gives young people ages 11 to 16 a chance to build confidence, sharpen their comedic timing, and have a whole lot of fun through games and improvisation. It’s a great opportunity for budding performers—or anyone who just loves to make people laugh—to get creative and meet new friends at the event venue in Northumberland.
Tuesday: Starting at 7:30 p.m., the Concert Band of Cobourg’s Summer Concert Series brings the sounds of talented local musicians to the waterfront for a relaxing evening of live music. Grab a lawn chair, bring some friends, and enjoy familiar favourites in a beautiful summer setting at the Victoria Park Bandshell in Cobourg. Victoria Park Bandshell
Tuesday: Starting at 10 a.m., the Me & The Bees Tour is a hands-on way to get up close with a working beehive and learn what goes into making the honey and beeswax products we use every day. You’ll get to see an open hive, hold a frame, learn how honey makes its way from hive to jar, and even try some of the beekeeping process yourself at The Bee Works on County Road 2 in Port Hope.
