Here is a quick snapshot of what’s happening around town the next 48 hours.
STUFF TO DO
Friday: Starting at 5:30 p.m., Friday Fun Night: Friendship Bracelet Edition gives kids ages 5 to 12 two hours of creativity and fun, with a chance to paint their own friendship bracelet-inspired mug, play games, and enjoy pizza with friends. It’s a great opportunity for kids to get creative while parents enjoy a couple of hours to themselves at Crock A Doodle on Division Street in Cobourg.
Friday: Starting at 6 p.m., Friday Night Cruise-In is a summer tradition where classic cars, cool rides, and friendly conversations come together for a relaxed evening with fellow automotive fans. Whether you’re showing off your own vehicle or just enjoy admiring the craftsmanship behind these unique cars, it’s a great way to spend a Friday night at 727 William Street beside Big Boy Burgers in Cobourg.
Saturday: Starting at 8 a.m. in Cobourg and Port Hope, and 9 a.m. in Campbellford, Saturday mornings are made for wandering the farmers’ markets, filling your bags with fresh local produce, homemade baking, flowers, and handcrafted goods while catching up with the people who make and grow them. Take your time browsing the stalls, support local vendors, and enjoy the community atmosphere at Rotary Harbourfront Park in Cobourg, 56 Queen Street in Port Hope, or downtown Campbellford.
Saturday: Starting at 5 p.m., Port Hope Cruisers brings classic vehicles of all kinds together for a relaxed summer evening where car enthusiasts can show off their rides, admire some beautiful restorations, and swap stories with fellow cruisers. Out-of-town visitors are welcome too, so whether you’re bringing a vehicle or just stopping by to take it all in, there’s plenty to enjoy at 10 Robertson Street in Port Hope.
