Cobourg Police are investigating a commercial break and enter at a business on William Street near University Avenue West.
Officers responded to an alarm at the property at approximately 9:40 p.m. on Saturday, July 25.
When police arrived, they discovered that a hole had been cut into the bottom of a rear garage door, allowing someone to enter the premises.
Officers searched the interior of the business and confirmed that no individuals remained inside.
The business owner attended the scene and determined that several items had been stolen. A full inventory is now being conducted to identify all missing property.
The investigation remains ongoing.
