Northumberland OPP are seeking the public’s assistance as they investigate an assault that occurred earlier this month in Campbellford.
Police say officers received a report of an assault in the area of Front Street North on June 5 at approximately 7:30 p.m.
According to investigators, the complainant reported that the individual believed responsible for the incident had gone to a nearby commercial property following the assault. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the person described.
Police say the injuries sustained in the incident are not believed to be serious.
As part of the ongoing investigation, Northumberland OPP have released photographs of two persons of interest and are asking members of the public to help identify them.
Investigators have not indicated what role the individuals may have played in the incident, but believe they may be able to assist with the investigation.
