Cobourg police say a 54-year-old Cobourg man is facing multiple charges following a disturbance call at a local business Sunday night.
Police say officers responded around 10:30 p.m. on April 26 to a report of a disturbance at a business in the area of King Street West and Spring Street.
When officers arrived, they located a group of individuals on the property. Police say the group left the area after being directed to do so.
During the investigation, officers identified one individual who was allegedly breaching conditions of a release order that prohibited him from attending that location.
Police arrested the man and say officers then located a quantity of fentanyl and methamphetamine during the arrest.
As a result, the Cobourg resident was charged with failing to comply with a release order, possession of a Schedule One substance involving fentanyl, and possession of a Schedule One substance involving methamphetamine.
