Cobourg police say a 53 year old Cobourg man has been charged following a voyeurism investigation involving hidden cameras.
Police say the investigation began April 2, 2026 after receiving a report of alleged incidents that occurred between October 2025 and April 2026.
Investigators say the report involved pinhole cameras that were allegedly hidden inside a residence washroom.
Police say officers later executed a search warrant at a Cobourg residence, where several pinhole cameras and additional evidence related to the investigation were seized.
As a result of the investigation, police say the accused was arrested and charged with three counts of voyeurism and one count of failing to comply with a probation order.
Police say the accused was held for a bail hearing and has since been released to a surety with conditions.
They say the investigation remains ongoing.
