Cobourg police are calling on the public for help after the theft of a Lexus from a Greer Crescent driveway.
According to the Cobourg Police Service, the vehicle was taken from the residential driveway sometime overnight between 9 p.m. on Monday, March 9 and 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10.
The vehicle taken has been described as a white 2023 Lexus RX350.
Police were called after the owner reportedly found broken glass in the driveway and the vehicle missing.
“The vehicle was last tracked to Quinlan Drive in Port Hope, where Port Hope Police Service officers assisted and located a part believed to be associated with the stolen vehicle,” said Cobourg police, adding that their probe is ongoing.
On Wednesday, police issued a call for the public’s help, urging anyone with information – including surveillance or dash-cam footage – to reach out to investigators at 905-372-6821.
