A pedestrian sustained injuries following a collision Saturday evening in Cobourg.
Police say the incident occurred on February 28, 2026, at approximately 7:00 p.m. at the intersection of King Street West and 4th Street. According to investigators, the pedestrian was crossing the roadway when they were struck by a vehicle.
The individual was transported to Northumberland Hills Hospital and later transferred by ground ambulance to a Toronto-area hospital. Injuries are described as non-life-threatening.
No charges have been laid at this time as police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
Cobourg Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have dash cam or surveillance footage from the area around the time of the collision, to contact the police service at 905-372-6821.
