The Cobourg Rotary Club is dusting off its boots and polishing its belt buckles for this year’s Diamonds and Denim fundraising event – a Western-inspired night of fun and philanthropy set for February 6, 2026, at the LiUNA Local 183 Training Centre in Cobourg.
After a successful run of themed fundraisers, from speakeasies to riverboats, Rotary’s Tracy West says the group decided it was time to bring out the cowboy hats.
Guests can kick up their heels, enjoy live music from Jackson Fox, and dig into a hearty country menu featuring brisket, barbecue, and fried chicken from Prep Food Co.
Rotary’s Brad West says LiUNA’s large event hall makes it the ideal spot for the western décor and live entertainment.
Along with all the boot-scootin’ fun, folks can test their grit and hang on tight for a wild ride on the mechanical bull. Tickets go on sale November 12th for $100 until December 31st, then $125 in the new year.
Every dollar raised will support the Rotary’s $75,000 pledge toward a new MRI machine at Northumberland Hills Hospital as well as other community initiatives.
So saddle up, Cobourg – it’s fixing to be a night you won’t want to miss!
