
Cobourg police say charges have been laid after a two-vehicle crash in the William and Boulton streets area.
According to the Cobourg Police Service, emergency crews responded to the collision on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2025, at about 12:35 p.m.
No injuries were reported to police, said the service.
As a result of the investigation, police said one of the drivers was arrested and transported to the station where they allegedly refused to provide a breath sample.
Police said a 57-year-old Cobourg woman was charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs, and refusal to comply with demand.
None of these charges have been proven in court.
The accused was released on an undertaking with a future court date, reported police.
