The Town of Cobourg has issued a precautionary boil water advisory for residents in the Pebble Beach neighbourhood as crews complete a watermain connection.
Lakefront Utilities staff are going door-to-door delivering notices to affected homes on Pebble Beach Drive, Glen Watford Road, Ravensdale Road, Cedar Lea Lane, Tracy Road, and a section of King Street West near Burnham Street.
Residents are asked to review the notice and follow all instructions until further notice.
Water service is expected to be restored by the end of the day Tuesday, though the advisory will remain in effect until bacterial testing confirms the water is safe — a process that takes at least 24 hours.
Updates will be shared by Lakefront Utilities and the Town of Cobourg through their websites and social media channels.
