The Town of Cobourg is once again in the spotlight as Netflix’s Ginny & Georgia returns to film its fourth season October 6 to 8, 2025.
Filming will take place at three key locations – The El at 74 King Street West, Victoria Park’s play structure area and Harbourlight Delights at 164 Division Street. Crews will prepare sets October 5 and 6, shoot on October 7 from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. and tear down on October 8.
Residents should be aware of temporary road closures from Tuesday morning to Wednesday morning on McGill Street and Queen Street between McGill and Church. Local traffic will be allowed through during breaks in filming. Production vehicles will also occupy portions of several municipal parking lots and on-street spaces, with all parking fees covered by the production.
A controlled scene involving a trained coyote will be filmed October 7 in Victoria Park under the supervision of licensed animal coordinators. The Town says it is working closely with the production team to ensure public safety and animal welfare.
For fans eager to explore Cobourg’s connection to the series, a new self-guided Ginny & Georgia walking tour is available through Experience Cobourg. The tour highlights notable filming locations and offers a way to experience iconic scenes from the show while discovering the town’s scenic spots.
Ginny & Georgia is a popular mother-daughter coming-of-age series starring Antonia Gentry and Brianne Howy. The Town of Cobourg says it is proud to continue its partnership with the production, which contributes to the local economy while maintaining public access and safety.
