The Port Hope Police Service says they’re investigating an attempted break and enter at the Mobil Gas Bar, located at 102 Peter Street in Port Hope.
According to police, two suspects attempted to gain entry through a small service window before fleeing the area. Both individuals were concealed, and identifying features are limited. The suspects were observed leaving in a red 2010-2012 Kia Soul with a burnt-out driver-side headlight.
Authorities are asking anyone who recognizes the individuals or the vehicle to contact the Port Hope Police Service at 905-885-8123. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
Police emphasize that any information provided could assist in the investigation and help prevent similar incidents in the community.
