Cobourg Police Service is investigating the theft of a transport truck that was stolen from a parking lot on Willmott Street.
Police say the incident happened sometime overnight between August 30 and 31, when unknown persons stole a white, 2017 Freightliner from the property. The investigation remains ongoing.
Officers are asking for the public’s help in locating the vehicle or identifying those responsible. Investigators are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who may have been in the area during the time of the theft and captured video evidence, such as dashcam or security footage.
Those with information are encouraged to contact the Cobourg Police Service at 905-372-6821. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS or visiting stopcrimehere.ca. Crime Stoppers tips may be eligible for a cash reward.
