Cobourg police say a 58-year-old man is facing multiple impaired driving charges following a disturbance on Saturday, August 23.
Officers were dispatched around 6:35 p.m. to the area of Shirley Street and Burnham Street. While responding, police observed a vehicle driving erratically before it pulled into a driveway.
Following the investigation, the man was arrested and charged with operation while impaired by alcohol, operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80, stunt driving, and having cannabis readily available or in open in a vehicle.
He was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court at a future date.
