Rebound Child and Youth Services is a Northumberland-based nonprofit that offers mental health support, counselling, and community programming to children, youth, and families. With locations in Cobourg and Campbellford, Rebound provides no-cost services focused on resilience, inclusion, and well-being. From youth justice programs to walk-in therapy and school support, Rebound plays a vital role in strengthening the lives of local young people.
And thanks to a recent community partnership, their work is getting a boost.
Thomas Cobourg has donated $2,000 to Rebound Child and Youth Services, along with a collection of essential items for the agency’s Community Cupboard. The donation — made in May — represented $20 from every vehicle sold during the month.
“We’re always looking for ways to support organizations that make a difference,” said representatives from Thomas Cobourg. “Our customers know that when they buy from us, they’re also giving back.”
The Community Cupboard helps meet basic needs by offering youth access to hygiene products, non-perishable food, and other daily essentials — all free of charge.
Rebound says it’s grateful for the support and ongoing commitment from businesses like Thomas Cobourg, which help sustain services that directly benefit families and youth in Northumberland.
