Peterborough Musicfest is looking for a volunteer to join its Board of Directors as Treasurer.
The successful candidate will help oversee the financial health of the festival, which has been a staple in the community since 1987. Known for attracting over 118,000 attendees annually with free concerts featuring artists like City and Colour, Metric, and Our Lady Peace, the festival also generates over $4.3 million in local economic activity each year.
The Treasurer will work closely with the Executive Director, Board, and bookkeeper to manage finances, assist in budgeting, and ensure compliance with government reporting. The role requires approximately 20 hours annually, including board meetings and park support during summer concerts.
Interested individuals with a strong financial background are encouraged to apply by 4pm on January 17th. Applications can be sent to Tracy Condon, Board Chair, at info@ptbomusicfest.ca. For more information, visit ptbomusicfest.ca.
