Community Events Taking Place on Family Day
Family Day In Cobourg
Rotary Harbourfront Outdoor Skating Rink (35 Albert Street), Monday, February 19, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Experience Cobourg is pleased to present the Town of Cobourg’s annual Family Day in Cobourg at the Rotary Harbourfront Rink. Enjoy skating at the outdoor rink with a DJ spinning tunes. Grab a warm drink and a fresh baked good from one of the tasty bakeries downtown Cobourg.
Family Day Festival

FBC’s Family Day Festival is back for another year with fun activities from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the whole family! The best part is it’s all free! The event includes tobogganing (with or without snow), horse drawn carriage rides, campfires and s’mores, games, face painting, a balloon artist, crafts, activities for the kids, free lunch and snacks, board games, prizes, music and more!
Cobourg YMCA Family Day Fun
YMCA Northumberland (339 Elgin Street West), February 19

Free Family Fishing
Ontario Family Fishing Events is a province-wide opportunity for Canadian residents to fish Ontario waters without the otherwise mandatory fishing version outdoors card. The Ontario Government has designated four periods throughout the year as license-free Family Fishing, Family Day Weekend fishing will run from February 17-19, 2024. Cobourg Cougars
Cobourg Community Centre (750 D’Arcy Street), Monday, February 19, 7 p.m.
Cheer on our home OJHL hockey team, the Cobourg Cougars, as they face the North York Rangers. Kids 12 years and under get in free when wearing a jersey and accompanied by an adult. Tickets are available online at www.cobourgcougars.com and at the gate.
