Cobourg Legion Branch 133 is currently the fastest-growing legion branch in Canada. President Rod Ingersoll says they’ve seen an incredible surge of support.
According to reports, Legion memberships grew by five per cent after a pandemic slump. Ingersoll says the media, including 93.3 myFM and Classic Rock 107.9, have debunked a common misconception about legion memberships.
Ingersoll says Branch 133 is very stable at the moment.
Branch 133 swears in new members every 3rd Thursday of the month. In January, new members will inagurate on Thursday, Jan. 18.
