Cramahe Township Mayor Mandy Martin says the project completed this year has distilled confidence for the upcoming year.
Mayor Martin spoke about Cramahe’s biggest successes out of 2023. Projects highlighted include the downtown refurbishment and revitalization and the Barnes road bridge replacement in collaboration with CN Rail, and refurbishing 14 kilometres of road in the municipality.
After reflecting, Mayor Martin acknowledges staff for optimizing solutions.
Martin expressed that Cramahe’s approach to public projects, like the Barnes Road Bridge replacement collaboration, is pushing focus to Cramahe’s effectiveness in productivity.
Mayor Martin said this year set Cramahe’s efforts apart.
Mayor Martin says upcoming projects include roadwork, but pays specific mention to a UV system to treat water in the municipality.
Planning also calls for versatility. Martin refers back to December 2022’s massive winter storm that sent dozens of motorists to seek refuge in the Keeler Centre.
Martin said the municipality’s confidence is at an all-time high, causing good momentum going into 2024.
