Frankford, Napanee, and most recently, Picton have fallen to the Port Hope Panthers in their run for the Schmalz Cup.
Next up are the Clarington Eagles and the East Conference Finals.
GM and Assistant Coach PJ Michael told us about the addition of Head Coach John Foley.
For a team that started with a roster of 12 rookie skaters, the Panthers have come a long way, and they’ve got their sights set on the big prize.
Michael told us the team is very focused.
Fan support for the Panthers run for the Schmalz Cup has been fantastic according to Michael who said fans really do make a difference for the team.
The Panthers will begin there battle for the East Conference Championship on Thursday with an away game in Bowmanville.
