Ontario Parks is known for it’s amazing spaces that provide residents and visitors a chance to get up close and personal with native wildlife, and learn more about the flora and fauna that call Ontario home.
MPP and Environment Minister David Piccini told us it couldn’t happen without summer students.
Ontario Parks staff work to protect the special places that safeguard the province’s biodiversity and students are essential to the programming and maintenance that keeps our network of parks running.
Right now, jobs are available that range from store clerk, to discovery ranger as well as park wardens and maintenance workers that could see you in the wilderness for days at a time.
MPP Piccini told us season jobs appeal to a wide variety of interests.
The Ontario Parks Summer Jobs program offer students a chance to work in a variety of ways that play a major role in maintaining the beauty of our provinces parks system and it’s accessibility to visitors.
According MPP Piccini, students help teach visitors about our shared natural and cultural history.
