The Campbellford Memorial Hospital Board Chair and CEO have provided a progress update on the Campus of Care project.
The board has recently presented the proposed redevelopment of the hospital to Minister of Health Sylvia Jones and Minister of Long Term Care Paul Calandra, as well as local MPP’s David Piccini and Ric Breese.
Board members told the ministers about the struggles and limitations of the current hospital, and the potential benefits of creating a new hospital as part of a Campus of Care.
Once complete, the Campus of Care will reportedly include a redeveloped Hospital, a new Long Term Care Home, community health programs like, and supportive community housing.
