After drawing some negative attention from residents near the testing facility in Trent Hills, the rocket startup company has filed for bankruptcy.
SpaceRyde drew the ire of some neighbours after they said the company’s rocket engine tests were so loud they were disrupting local livestock.
According to Payload, a space news blog, the company filed for bankruptcy this past Friday with no stated reason why.
Back in October, Trent Hills Council asked SpaceRyde to stop engine testing, and the company did its last engine test at the Trent Hills facility on Oct. 6.
