Parents and guardians of students at Roseneath Centennial Public School were notified of a “concerning and serious incident” that took place this week.
According to Northumberland County Breaking News feed, a letter from school principal Mary Jane Corradetti said a student brought a pair of scissors onto the school yard and used them to harm another student.
She said they are continuing to investigate this situation and are addressing it to ensure ongoing student safety for all.
The student sustained a minor injury as a result of the incident.
However, parents and guardians weren’t told about how or where the student sustained injuries.
