County council wants you to “Say scram to cyber scams”
Cybercrime is on the rise and our seniors are among the most at risk for cyber scams.
Northumberland County and the Community Training and Development Centre are inviting seniors to a free virtual information session on October 26th at 7 pm.
Danny Pehar will share tips on how to keep safe from cybercrime and identify some threats and vulnerabilities.
Topics will include the different types of cyber scams, how to tell if something is a scam, what sensitive information cyber criminals want and how to protect it, how to protect your devices and what to do if your device is impacted.
