The Health Unit is reporting its first case of the flu this season.
They’re reminding you to get your flu shot and to not take any unnecessary risks with your health.
Most people can get the flu shot at the same time they get a COVID-19 vaccine, so you can cut down on a trip if you get both.
To further stop the spread, you can wear a mask, physically distance, wash your hands thoroughly and often, sneeze and cough into your sleeves, and stay home from work and school if you’re sick.
Flu season typically runs from late fall to early spring.
