United Way Northumberland CEO Bobbie Dawson announced her resignation yesterday.
Dawson has been CEO for the past three years, and will be resigning her post at the end of August.
The difficult decision comes because of changes in her personal life.
Acting Executive Director Maggie Darling will be taking over the role.
Darling has been with United Way since 2015, and was previously Director of Communications and Community Impact.
