There’s unanimous support from all 11 municipal partners to redevelop Campbellford Memorial Hospital.
The municipal partners from areas around the hospital showed their support by writing letters to Minister of Health Christine Elliott outlining why this project is so important, with copies sent to area MPPs.
The Hospital has applied for a capital planning grant to redevelop the facility to bring together the hospital, long-term care, affordable senior housing and services, and other healthcare services.
At a previous Trent Hills council meeting, CMH CEO Eric Hanna said the building is currently “on life support”, and that it’s “not currently capable of providing an adequate level of care in today’s healthcare environment”.
