Ontario is reporting just under 200 new COVID-19 cases today as the seven day average continues to decline. The Province has also announced that it can confirm no new deaths for the first time since last year.
Here in Northumberland the Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit has confirmed no new cases in Northumberland and 1 in Kawartha lakes.
Dr. Natalie Bocking of the Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit addressed the media today with updates and information about how Covid-19 is affecting the region. Dr. Bocking spoke about daily case infections,active cases,vaccination updates and the downward trend in new infections.
